WendyAnn Williams, a Trinidad-born artist, expresses her passion for photography by capturing people, places, and personal narratives. She specializes in portrait photography and believes that a great portrait is a series of meaningful moments that tell a story, while respecting the art and the individual. She recognizes that every image has multiple truths and values the ability of photography to freeze time and preserve the constructive realities of the moment.

WendyAnn’s artistic journey began with her father’s inspiration during her youth, but she was initially discouraged by the high cost of pursuing photography. However, after moving to the United States, she reignited her passion and started capturing life through her DSLR camera, gifted to her by her husband while she pursued her degree.
WendyAnn is committed to using her photography to visually document life and has a long-term goal of working with human rights organizations to capture and portray the experiences of displaced and marginalized communities around the world. She envisions her portraits as a reflection of the communities she photographs, inspiring hope and change on a global scale.
